The Boddinick ferry carried us across the harbor’s upper neck.
The little free library in Boddinick. Perhaps a gift from Dr. Who?
Up the hill and a sharp right into the former grounds of a long vanished great house. Wild onion and bluebells abound.
It was a misty day.
We detoured up to St, Wyllow’s, Lanteglos-by-Fowey.
The farmer next door at Churchtown Farm added a much appreciated amenity since I was last here.
With helpful instructions.
Returning to Fowey by the passenger ferry from Polruan, we had a late lunch of delicous pasties and cream tea at the Cornish Bakery
…just across the lane for the bookstore.
Yep. I couldn’t agree more.
We ended the day with a delicious late dinner of crab sandwich, seafood salad, Doombar ale and sticky toffee pudding at the Galleon Inn.
I love the English humor and the stone work.
